Dahongpao is one of the Wuyi rock teas. The tea comes from tea gardens in Wuyishan, Fujian Province, China.

Dahongpao is a tea tree species commonly found in the Wuyi Mountains and processed into oolong tea.
The unique aroma can last up to 6-8 infusions.
Tea should be brewed according to your personal preference.
This is my favorite way to make tea:
1. First put a bag (8 grams) of loose leaf tea into the teapot, then pour boiling water into the pot and rinse the tea leaves.
Then, pour out the water immediately. Rinse the tea leaves first to help bring out the natural aroma of the tea.
2. Leave the tea leaves in the teapot, pour about two cups of boiling water (or 98 degrees Celsius), and brew for about 4-5 minutes.
The ideal brewing time is when the color of the tea turns reddish-orange.
3. After making tea for the first time, do not throw away the tea leaves. You can still brew the leaves about 5-6 times after that.
After the second brew, the flavor will fade, so just brew longer.
Adding sugar to tea is not recommended as it will overwhelm the natural sweetness of a fine tea.
